CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON NOMINATES YAZOO CITY YOUTH TO MERCHANT MARINE AND NAVAL ACADEMIES

 

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Tavashyette Williams has been nominated by United States Congressman Bennie G. Thompson to the United States Merchant Marine and Naval Academies.

Ms. Williams is scheduled to graduate in May 2012 from Yazoo County High School where she is a member of the Volley Ball Team. She is active in various civic organizations and is the recipient of numerous academic, achievement, and civic awards.

Tavashyette is the daughter of Ms. Latricia Williams of Yazoo City, Mississippi.
