 Congressman Thompson ANNOUNCES $9,814,700 awarded to MISSISSIPPI

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The United States Department of Transportation has awarded $9,814,700 in TIGER III Discretionary Grant funds for Mississippi projects.

The project will deploy Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements on and around four highway bridges that span the Mississippi River, in the states of Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana: the Helena Bridge (US-49, MS & AR); the Greenville Bridge (US-82, MS & AR); the Vicksburg Bridge (I-20, MS & LA); the Natchez-Vidalia Bridge (US-84, MS & LA).
