Congressman Thompson ANNOUNCES $2,081,650 loan to Mississippi Delta Council for Farmworker Opportunities, Inc.

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development has awarded a Farm Labor Housing Loan in the amount of $2,081,650 to the Mississippi Delta Council for Farmworker Opportunities, Inc. in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

The Rural Development funds will be used to construct a 12 unit off farm labor housing project.
