Congressman Thompson ANNOUNCES $151,000 awarded to The Holmes County Board of Supervisors

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development has awarded a grant in the amount of $151,000 to the Holmes County Board of Supervisors.

The Rural Development funds will be used to construct a food processing facility that will be used by local farmers to wash, store and process the produce to a useable form of the fruit and vegetables grown on area farms.
