Congressman Thompson ANNOUNCES Appointment of Wounded Warrior Fellow

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the acceptance of Mr. Dekeither Stamps as a fellow from the Wounded Warrior Program. The Wounded Warrior Program assists wounded or disabled veterans with benefits and employment within the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. Stamps is a native of Learned, Mississippi and served in both the United States Army and the United States Marines. Since his retirement from the armed forces, Mr. Stamps is an advocate for veteran issues, including actively helping service members with VA and Social Security claims, counseling and assisting them with their transition.

“I appreciate the Wounded Warrior Program for making this opportunity available to veterans living in the Second Congressional District and I proudly welcome Mr. Stamps to my staff.” Mr. Stamps tenure in my office will give us the additional resource needed to assist more of the men and women who proudly served in our armed forces and who may now need additional assistance,” said Thompson.

Veterans should feel free to contact Mr. Stamps in Congressman Thompson’s Jackson, Mississippi district office at 601-946-9003 for casework assistance.
