NEW HAVEN, CT—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) released the following statement today on the passing of Metro-North employee James Romansoff.

“My deepest condolences go out to Mr. Romansoff’s family. My office has been in touch with the Connecticut DOT and I understand the appropriate agencies are on the scene to find out exactly what happened. Metro-North has had far too many of these incidents. Enough is enough: no one should lose their life on a job trying to support their family. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Romansoff’s friends and family in this difficult time.”
