314,000 new private sector jobs were added last month! That makes November the 57th straight month of private sector job growth, continuing the longest streak in our nation's history. The unemployment rate held at 5.8%, its lowest mark since July 2008. There's still more to do -- and that's why I will continue to fight for job-creating legislation that will build on the job growth we've already seen -- but this jobs report is very good news, and a testament to President Obama's success in pulling our country out of the economic tailspin he inherited. |
