I’m proud to #StandWithPeggy in calling for reasonable accommodations for pregnant workers. Peggy Young, a UPS employee, requested modest accommodations at work due to her pregnancy. Although UPS had made accommodations for employees with temporary injuries, UPS refused Ms. Young’s request and forced her to choose between her job and her pregnancy. Ms. Young took the matter to court, and today, the Supreme Court heard arguments in the case of Young v. UPS. I was pleased to sign an amicus brief in support of Ms. Young. I hope you’ll join me in standing with her, and working women all across the country, as we fight to end pregnancy discrimination.
