About The Aloha State
Hawai‘i is like no other place on earth. It is home to one of the world's most active volcanoes and the world's tallest sea mountain and is the birthplace of modern surfing, the hula and Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine. Hawai‘i is one of the youngest geological formations in the world and the youngest state of the union. But perhaps Hawai‘i's most unique feature is its aloha spirit: the warmth of Hawai‘i's people that wonderfully complements the Islands' perfect temperatures.
There are eight major islands in Hawai‘i: Kaua‘i, O‘ahu, Moloka‘i, Lana‘i, Maui, Ni‘ihau, Kaho‘olawe, and Hawai‘i Island.
