Labor
Washington should encourage entrepreneurship and private job creation, not stifle it.
In the Obama economy, we have had the slowest economic recovery since the Great Depression. Nearly 25 million currently are still looking for a full-time job as the President’s job-killing agenda of over-regulation, high taxes, and ObamaCare is clearly stifling economic growth and job creation. Americans deserve better.
We must do away with the over-regulation, high taxes and government-created uncertainty that restrict the ability of Americans to expand and grow their businesses. When it costs an estimated $10,000 per employee for an employer to comply with regulations, it is clear that excessive Washington regulation in hurting both employees and employees.
I proudly represent a Right-to-Work state, and believe that all workers across the country should enjoy the same privileges. I will oppose any effort to take away the rights of workers to the secret ballot through so-called “card check” legislation as well as attempt to erode these rights through Obama Administration regulatory action.
