The Broncos had an incredible season—one that was great to experience as a lifelong fan. Sadly, the Seattle Seahawks got the better of them in the Super Bowl. In January, the Colorado delegation made a friendly wager with the members of the Washington State delegation. Today, Congressman Gardner made good on that bet, presenting House GOP Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers with a heaping box of Rocky Mountain Oysters. The Washington delegation seemed a little nervous at first, but quickly warmed up to them.
Here's a great piece that responds to some who recently have called into question the idea of American Exceptionalism, or the idea that America is unique among all other nations in its greatness.
