MIAMI, FL – In honor of the 2014 Thanksgiving holiday, Congressman Garcia has issued the following the statement -
“Thanksgiving is always a special time of year where we have the chance to reunite with our family and friends to reflect and celebrate the things we are thankful for. It is a time to recognize the bounty of blessings we have received this year as individuals, as a community, as a nation.
This year, we as Americans, have many reasons to be thankful – historic progress towards comprehensive immigration reform; nearly a million Floridians gaining access to affordable health care; and an economy that has experienced significant growth over the past year.
This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the love and support of my family and friends, the hard work and loyalty of my staff, and the privilege of serving the people of Florida’s 26th district.”
