Veterans

Veterans are a priority for me. Our country is built on the service of those who protect our nation. Our parents, brothers and sisters, or sons and daughters in uniform don’t serve for the recognition. They serve out of a sense of duty – a real and tangible dedication – to this country. Some make the ultimate sacrifice. For this reason, we must honor our veterans with actions not just words. As long as I hold office, I will continue to protect and support veterans. Since serving as the U.S. Representative for 23rd District of Texas, my office has recovered almost $1.4 million in benefits for veterans in the Congressional District.
