Yuba County

Issues: Agriculture

Congressman Garamendi is proud to represent Yuba County, which was established in 1850 at the time of statehood. The western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains lie on the eastern side of the county, while the western side sits on the valley floor and boasts rich agricultural land, with reservoirs throughout.  Portions of the Tahoe National Forest and the Plumas National Forest lie within the county’s borders and serve its citizens with opportunities for recreational activities. Yuba County is also home to Beale Air Force Base, which carries out an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission that is vital to America's national security.
