Internships in Washington, D.C. give college students invaluable work experience and insight into the legislative process. In Washington, interns' responsibilities will vary, and range from answering phones, legislative research for the Member and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings and organizing constituent letters on various issues before the House.

Internship candidates are encouraged to apply for internship positions in the Washington, D.C. office at least two months in advance of the desired start date.
