We have ignored our broken immigration system for too long, and I am pleased that the President is taking action to improve our immigration system and provide temporary relief for some families. These actions which are long overdue, will prevent millions of families from being torn apart, provide visas for highly-skilled workers, and give many immigrants relief from the fear of deportation.

As your representative in the United States Congress, my top priority is to support policies that strengthen the middle class and bring good jobs to our region. As I continue to develop policies and vote on these important issues, I want to hear from you.

Foster introduces the Expanding Opportunities for Recovery Act, legislation that would create a grant program to increase access to in-patient rehabilitation services for heroin and other opioid abuse.
