Washington, DC

Rep. Karen Bass Washington DC OfficeOn days when Congress is in session, I work out of my office in Washington D.C. It is located in the Cannon House Office Building near the House side of the U.S. Capitol.

In my Washington D.C. office, I attend meetings with visiting constituents, prepare for hearings, research upcoming votes, and work with my staff to create and get support for proposed legislation. If you're a constituent in the area, we'd love to have you visit!

Tours & Tickets

If you would like to have a tour of the Capitol Building, Library of Congress or the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, visit our Tours & Tickets page. Our staff assistant would be happy to help you.

My Staff

If you would like to speak to a member of my legislative staff, you can find their contact information on the My Staff page.

Directions

The easiest way to get to my office is on the Washington Metro. The best stop to use is the Capitol South Metro stop on the blue and orange line. The Cannon House Office Building is within sight when you step off the metro. Please go through any of the Cannon House Office Building doors that are open. During the hours of 7:00 AM-10:00 AM, the First Street entrance opened only to Congressional Staff. My office is on the fourth floor of the building.

Sending Mail

You are welcome to call or send a message to me through the U.S. Postal Service, but please note that postal mail is the slowest method for contacting me. All postal mail sent to my offices must be scanned for security purposes, which means it will take an additional two weeks for me to receive it. If you prefer, the quickest and most environmentally friendly way to send me information is to contact me by e-mail.
