The President’s National Security Agenda: Curtailing Ebola, Safeguarding the Future

On November 20, 2014, the Journal of the American Medical Association published an article by Lawrence O. Gostin, JD; Henry A. Waxman, JD; William Foege, MD, MPH, on the Ebola epidemic and the need for a strong public health system here and abroad.

In the article, they call for  Congress to support the President's supplemental funding request, furthering a bipartisan U.S. tradition of support for global health, continuing U.S. global leadership in the Ebola response, and preparing our country and our world for disease threats of the future.
