Transportation

I have been involved in most of the major transportation improvements in northern Virginia over the past 25 years, all of them intended to help people. Among them has been my work to obtain full funding for the Metrorail system; funding for rail in the Dulles Corridor; lowering car pool restrictions on I-66; adding a new reversible lane on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge; improving safety and driving conditions on the George Washington Memorial Parkway, including the additional lane from Spout Run to the Roosevelt Bridge, and advocating telecommuting in both the private sector and the federal government.
