Weber: Emperor Obama Has Violated the Constitution...Yet Again

Nov 21, 2014
Press Release

Washington, D.C. – Last night, the President announced that he will be acting unilaterally to allow roughly 5 million undocumented immigrants to stay in the United States. Representative Randy Weber (R-Friendswood) made the following statement:

“We are a nation of laws, and the President has a proven record of refusing to enforce the law or abide by our Constitution. By acting unilaterally, the President has poisoned the well, not only with Congress but with the American people. On November 4, the American people spoke loudly against the President’s agenda and tactics by voting in a new majority in the Senate. They are sick of the President threatening the American people and Congress with his phone and pen. They are tired of the President disrespecting our Constitution. Hardworking American families deserve a President that is accountable to the American people and is willing to work with their elected representatives to get things done – not one who acts alone when it benefits his egregious agenda. Let me be clear, I will do everything within my constitutional authority to bring an end to the President’s executive action on amnesty.”

Representative Weber has been a proactive leader fighting to end Obama’s lawlessness. In June, Weber acted and introduced House Resolution 652, The Lawless Executive, condemning the President of the United States and his administration for continuous actions that violates the laws of the Constitution of the United States.
