Washington, D.C. – Congressman Randy Weber (R-Friendswood) introduced H.R. 5665, the Clear the Air with Congress Act of 2014. This legislation would simply require that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) report to Congress on the impact of any new ozone regulations, as well as the data used to reach its conclusions, before it can propose such a regulation. It will also require that before the regulation can take effect, Congress would have to pass a law to implement it.

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, the United States House of Representatives voted on the Waters of the United States Regulatory Overreach Protection Act of 2014 (H.R. 5078) which prohibits the Army Corps and the EPA from developing, finalizing, adopting, implementing, applying, administering, or enforcing their proposed rule expanding their authority over “waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act.
