Wagner's Statement on Boeing Adding 500 New Jobs

Ballwin, MO – Congresswoman Ann Wagner issued the following statement after Boeing announced it would bring 500 new jobs to the St. Louis region to help build the F-22 Raptor:  

“The St. Louis region is home to the greatest defense aviation manufacturing base in the country.  Today's announcement that Boeing will bring 500 new jobs to the St. Louis region to help build the F-22 Raptor is a major step in protecting our national security, especially since this fighter jet is being used for targeted airstrikes against ISIL in Syria and Iraq,” said Rep. Wagner.  “Since being sworn-in to be your representative, I have been fighting consistently to grow jobs and expand our aviation manufacturing base here in St. Louis.  I am very pleased that Boeing chose to add 500 new jobs to the region, and I look forward to working with them in the future.”
