WASHINGTON- The United States Supreme Court ruled Monday closely-held corporations like Hobby Lobby, run by religious people, cannot be forced by the government to provide contraceptive coverage to their employees. Essentially, this decision extends the protections of the Religious Freedom of Restoration Act to for-profit corporations, including Hobby Lobby, Mardel, and Conestoga.

I am happy to see Justina Pelletier returned home to her family. We have all been praying with her family for her return since she was wrongly taken from them by Massachusetts government employees unqualified to question the decisions of her team of doctors at the Tufts Medical Center.
16-year-old Justina Pelletier, who suffers from Mitochondrial disease and became a ward of the state because of a subjective psychotropic drug diagnosis dispute, might be returning to her family soon. Recently, the Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services filed a motion to dismiss her case, after Justina Pelletier’s lawyers filed a motion to return Justina home to her family.
WASHINGTON -- Veterans denied prompt care at Veterans Administration facilities would receive a voucher to seek care at any non-VA facility under legislation introduced May 29 by Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36).
“Government waiting lists are literally killing veterans. If the government can’t deliver care veterans should be able to get their guaranteed care at a private facility,” said Stockman.
“The fatal problems within the VA are a product of the system itself. You cannot fix the problem without reforming the system,” said Stockman.
WASHINGTON—Congressman Stockman will introduce legislation cutting off funds to medical institutions that conduct greater than minimal risk research on wards of the state, deny First Amendment rights to parents and wards of the state, and take children away from their parents over disagreements on subjective medical diagnoses.
WASHINGTON - Congressman Stockman last week introduced H.R. 4381, the Biometric Information Privacy Act. It would protect a consumer’s personal physiological biometric information from being passed onto third parties.
Biometric data include personal identifying information such as DNA, fingerprints, retinal scans or facial scanning, converted into binary code.
‘If Democrats want to bail out Obamacare they should be forced to enroll in the exchanges’
WASHINGTON -- Staffers in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman Steve Stockman voted unanimously Tuesday to reject enrollment in the District of Columbia’s Obamacare exchange.
The administration made a number of promises as it forced its health care law through Congress and onto the American people: your premiums will go down; if you like your current plan, you can keep it; and has since proclaimed everything was “working the way it is supposed to.” Yet, time and again, these promises have been broken.
WASHINGTON -- Chad Henderson, the Tennessee Obama activist who misled reporters about his supposed success in buying an ObamaCare policy, tells The Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross he has accepted Congressman Steve Stockman’s invitation to be his guest at January’s State of the Union Address.
“I look forward to giving Chad the opportunity to attend the State of the Union Address. Now when President Obama speaks about ObamaCare the media will have someone they can cut to,” said Stockman. “I encourage the President to acknowledge him and his story.”
WASHINGTON -- Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) Tuesday invited fake ObamaCare enrollee Chad Henderson to be his guest at January’s State of the Union Address. Stockman also urged Obama to join Henderson for a photo opportunity.
“Chad Henderson is ObamaCare personified. He pushed ObamaCare on other people but refused to buy it himself because he would pay more. He’s practically a Democrat member of Congress,” said Stockman. “I hope Chad will join me at the State of the Union Address so Obama can point to someone who personifies his policies.”
