Tonight Barack Obama will forsake his constitutionally-sworn role of President and take unlawful actions he himself defined as illegitimate.
Presidential power long ago broke out of its constitutional shackles, but Barack Obama has taken it even further, to dangerous extremes. He has taken the disastrous hubris of Obamacare and applied it to our national security policy.

WASHINGTON -- Congressman Steve Stockman Thursday filed a resolution directing the House Sergeant-At-Arms to arrest former IRS Director of the Exempt Organizations Unit Lois Lerner on charges of contempt of Congress.
WASHINGTON -- The United States Supreme Court Thursday morning unanimously ruled in NLRB v. Canning that President Barack Obama’s supposed recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board were invalid, as they were made while the Senate in pro forma session.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Stockman released the following statement Monday morning after the United States Supreme Court struck down an EPA plan to regulate carbon dioxide as an unconstitutional expansion of its authority:
The Supreme Court convicted Senate Democrats of conspiring to kill jobs.
The illegal EPA plan the Court struck down was supported and funded by Senate Democrats as part of their larger plan to downsize the economy. Senate Democrats were told Obama’s EPA scheme was unlawful and a job killer, and they funded it anyway.
Stockman asks NSA for Lois Lerner metadata after IRS claims ‘glitch’ erased all incriminating emails
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Stockman Friday asked the National Security Agency to turn over all its metadata on the email accounts of former Internal Revenue Service Exempt Organizations division director Lois Lerner for the period between January 2009 and April 2011.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Stockman released the following statement Monday afternoon regarding the selection of Congressman Trey Gowdy to chair the Select Committee to investigate the Obama administration’s response to and handling of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on Americans in Benghazi, Libya:
“Congratulations to Mr. Gowdy. This is the first step toward finding the truth and securing justice for the victims in Benghazi. We must hold accountable those who ignored four Americans’ call for help and the White House’s efforts to cover up their fatal failure.
Last week the House Committee on Ethics extended the time for its review of an Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) referral concerning a Federal Election Commission (FEC) reporting error made by the former campaign committee of Congressman Steve Stockman.
