Flag Order Form

U.S. Flags may be purchased through my office and flown over the Capitol building. If you would like to order a flag, please fill out an order form (PDF) and mail it to the address below. Please note that your order cannot be processed unless it is accompanied with payment (check or money order only, please do not mail cash).

If the flag is for a friend or local club, please make sure to include that information on the order form so the flag certificate will be filled out appropriately. With advance notice, it is possible to have your flag flown over the Capitol on a specific date. Be sure to indicate the desired flying date on the order form.

Allow at least 4-6 weeks for delivery. Please note that my office cannot guarantee the delivery of flags by specific dates, ceremonies, or occasions.

Care of the Flag

Most outdoor flags can be washed in mild detergent and thoroughly rinsed. Indoor and parade flags should be dry-cleaned. Damaged flags can be repaired and utilized as long as the overall dimensions are not noticeably altered. American Legion Posts and local governments often have facilities to dispose of unserviceable flags. Store your flag in a clean, well ventilated area.
