The Department of Labor Home Page is an invaluable resource for information pertaining to employment. You can research wage and salary data, and vital economic statistics as they pertain to our nation's world-class labor force.
FAA Career Opportunities
Considering a career in the world of aviation? Check out this link to opportunities at the Federal Aviation Administration. Given the airline security measures I helped pass through Congress, the FAA is looking for a few good men and women to keep our skies safe.
USAJOBS.gov
USA Jobs is the official site for current federal jobs and employment information. Users can learn about the benefits of federal employment, and search for federal job openings.
Student Jobs.Gov
Student Jobs is one-stop shopping for students interested in federal employment opportunities. Students are eligible for special benefits in the federal job market, and you can learn more about that on this site.
JAN on the Web
The Job Accommodation Network is a service of the Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy. It provides one-on-one information about job accommodations and the employability of people with disabilities, and is also available through its 1-800-ADA-WORK hotline.
America's Job Bank
America's Job Bank is one of the most requested sites through the Department of Labor. It provides a searchable database of over one million jobs, and allows users to post their resumes online.
Obtaining a Federal Document
During the past two years, increasing numbers of federal documents have become available on the Internet, either through the Government Printing Office website, the various websites of federal agencies or the Library of Congress' Thomas website. If you can't find what you need online, however, you should be able to obtain it through one of the following resources.
- House of Representatives Document Room Provides many congressional documents free of charge. To obtain materials, call (202) 226-5200 or email the Document Room.
- Government Printing Office Provides government documents, including information from federal agencies, and many non-congressional materials. Fees applied to each order. To obtain materials, call (202)512-1800.

The Library of Congress Internet Legislative Information System. Updated daily, it provides a searchable database for information about all bills passed in the 107th and 108th Congress, bills pending in Congress, and House and Senate floor speeches and debates recorded daily in the Congressional Record.
