As Representative of the 4th District of Texas, I have always voted my District. It is my top priority to listen and respond to constituents' letters, phone calls, and emails - it is their views that guide my efforts and conservative voting record.

Members are assigned to House Committees which have jurisdiciton over different areas of public policy. I currently serve as Chairman Emeritus of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, and as a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
