Congresswoman Negrete McLeod’s office is here to help.  Her office can keep you aware of the latest grant opportunities by signing up for the grants e-newsletter.  The Grants Table of Contents on this page also has some helpful links for more information about the grants process.

Note that Congresswoman Negrete McLeod does not have any role in deciding who is awarded a grant.  The office is also not allowed to help you write or review grant proposals. The office can help you identify federal grants for which you may be eligible through the tools listed on the website.

Letter of Support Requests

If you are in need of a letter of support or interest from Congresswoman Negrete McLeod to complete your grant application, the office can help you prepare such a letter.  Please contact the district office for more information.  Please prepare a summary of the grant you are applying for, information about your organization, and a template support letter. This request should be made at least two weeks before you need the letter to give the staff enough time to process your request. Please include the following information:

  • Background information regarding your organization, including your organization’s history, goals, activities and primary accomplishments
  • Any letters of support you may have for this particular grant application
  • Your organization’s 501(c)(3) status
  • A formal grant proposal request from your organization.
