Barbara Hollingsworth's recent op-ed is either misinformed or willfully ignores the facts pertaining to the Mark Center and my efforts to fight the threat it poses to traffic in Northern Virginia. Let me set the record straight.
The Mark Center in Alexandria could bring more traffic than the roads can handle.
House Democrats introduced two bills yesterday aimed at cutting greenhouse gas emissions and curbing toxic pollution by requiring a 5-cent deposit on beverage containers and imposing a 5-cent tax on single-use plastic bags from grocery stores and other retailers.
