Neugebauer Statement on Iran Nuclear Talks

WASHINGTON – Rep. Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) released the following statement regarding the extension of the Iran nuclear talks:

“Instead of agreeing to an extension of talks, the Obama administration needs to put more pressure on the Iranian regime to abandon its nuclear weapons program. The recent extension will only provide further sanctions relief and allow the regime to continue its role as a state sponsor of terrorism. This is unacceptable. To protect the American people, and our key allies like Israel, we cannot allow the Iranian regime to move forward with its nuclear weapons program.”
