Thank you for your interest in contacting my office for assistance with casework or requests for tours, flags or other services.  As I prepare to depart Congress, my office is unfortunately no longer able to assist with these requests.

I congratulate Representative-elect Mark DeSaulnier on winning the seat for the 11^th Congressional District of California. As of January 3, 2015, you will be able to contact his office with any casework requests at mark.desaulnier@mail.house.gov.

For the remainder of the term, please direct any requests (i.e. tour and flag requests or individual casework) to your California Senators, the offices of Senator Barbara Boxer and Senator Dianne Feinstein.  The contact information for their offices is listed below.

It has been my pleasure to serve the people of Contra Costa County for the past 40 years. I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish on behalf of children and families, working people, and the environment.  I look forward to continuing to work on the issues that have been at the core of my career and my passions as I depart from Congress.

I cannot thank you, my constituents, enough for you having given me the honor and privilege of representing you in Congress these past 40 years.  I promise to continue to stand up for the values that you and I have fought to uphold.
