The VA has many resources available online. You can find phone numbers and local offices for the VA.

Califiornia's Department of Veteran Affairs also has many resources online, and you can contact the agency here.

Education

​The GI Bill is a vital resource for millions of veterans to attend higher education courses. 

Health

Veterans may be eligible for medical benefits and drug benefits through the VA. You can also learn about survivor benefits.

Financial Resources

There are certain home loans, life insurance programs, and vocational rehabilitation and employment benefits that veterans may be eligible for. 

Suicide Prevention

It is deeply saddening that suicide rates have risen among veterans and active duty service men and women. If you or some one you know needs immediate medical assistance, please call 911. There is also a Veterans Crisis Line available at (800) 273-8255.

Veterans and active servicemembers can speedily access and apply for benefits online at www.ebenefits.va.gov.

Military records can now be requested online. 

You can apply for a medal, award, or decoration that was earned by an active service member.
