Are you planning a visit to Washington, DC? While you are in Washington, DC, I encourage you and your family to stop by my office. Whether you're coming on a short business trip, or an extended family vacation, my office can help you make arrangements for some of the more popular Federal attractions in our Nation's Capital.
Starting in March, visitors to the Rotunda will see signs of the Dome Restoration Project as protective coverings on artwork, statuary, and flooring are moved into place. To learn more, visit aoc.gov/dome
Tour Requests
We are able to help you reserve tours to the White House, the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Center, the Supreme Court, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. You may place an online tour request. These tours are an excellent way to see all that the nation's capital has to offer and all of these tours are of no charge to you. All tickets are provided to my constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.
You may also wish to visit the Capitol Visitors Center, the new main entrance to the U.S. Capitol.
The United States Capitol is a monument, a working office building, and one of the most recognizable symbols of representative democracy in the world. Visitors are welcome to enter the building through the Capitol Visitor Center, located beneath the East Front plaza of the U.S. Capitol at First Street and East Capitol Street. Guided tours of the historic Capitol begin at one of the Capitol Visitor Center’s orientation theaters with a 13-minute film, "Out of Many, One," which will take you on a journey through our country's struggle to establish the world's first truly representative democracy and introduce you to the magnificent building that houses our Congress. Once inside the historic Capitol, visitors will see the Crypt, the Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall.
