The legislative process can be difficult to understand with the twists and turns it takes to make a bill a law. Here, you can follow the steps of how a bill can become public law. In addition, I have given you a real-life example of how one of my bills, H.R. 728 the "Small Watershed Rehabilitation Amendment of 2000," became Public Law 106-472.
