Tours and Tickets

If you are planning to visit our nation's capital, you may request a tour by filling out the secure web form below as soon as you know your travel plans. You may also contact my Tour Coordinator, Zeenath Hussain, in my district office at (586) 498-7122 or Timothy Foster in my Washington office at (202) 225-4961.

Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis and are very limited, especially during the peak tourist season of May through August and around holidays. I suggest you contact my office at least six to eight weeks prior to your trip.

Additionally, we have brochures, tour information and maps for the greater Washington D.C. area and its many attractions.

U.S. Capitol

There are several options to book a tour of the Capitol. You now have the option to book a Capitol Guide Service led tour directly on the new Capitol web page: www.visitthecapitol.gov.

If you prefer a tour given by one of my trained staff members, please select the United States Capitol option on the online form and we will be pleased to assist you.

White House Tours

As of November 5, 2013, White House tours of the East Wing and Executive Residence will be open to the public.  All tickets are provided to my constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your opportunity to receive the tour. 

The White House is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Public tours of the White House are available for groups of 10 or more people. Requests must be submitted through one's Member of Congress and are accepted up to six months in advance. These self-guided tours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (excluding federal holidays), and are scheduled on a first come, first served basis approximately one month in advance of the requested date. We encourage you to submit your request as early as possible since a limited number of tours are available. All White House tours are free of charge. U.S. Department of State

The Department of State allows constituents to request tours directly on their website.

Click request a tour on the Department of State webpage: https://receptiontours.state.gov.

In the field “Request Type” click on the individual tour button.

If you are driving, the nearest public parking to the Capitol is paid parking at Union Station, there is also metered parking for the general public on 3rd street between Independence and Constitution Avenue.
