Hope for Homeowners
The Hope for Homeowners program will refinance mortgages for borrowers who are having difficulty making their payments, but can afford a new loan insured by HUD’s Federal Housing Administration (FHA). For additional information call 800-225-5342.

Save the Dream
The Save the Dream legislation was signed into law allowing the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) to refinance mortgage loans for borrowers who may be facing mortgage difficulties and who qualify for MSHDA’s low-interest safe and secure loans.

Helping Michigan’s Hardest Hit Homeowners
The Michigan Homeowner Assistance Nonprofit Housing Corporation (MHA) acting through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) received $498.6 million in federal funds from the U.S. Department of Treasury aimed at helping homeowners who are at high risk of default or foreclosure.
