This website is here to facilitate communication with the people I represent in Congress and help with responding to constituent inquiries and to provide assistance with casework and resolving problems with government agencies. Protecting your privacy is very important to me, and my office has established policies to help ensure that it is respected.

When you communicate with my office via email or web form to request information, seek assistance, or comment on legislative issues before Congress, any personally identifying information you provide, such as your name, street address, email address, and phone number will be used to try and fulfill your request and may be used to provide you with additional information at a later time. We will not disclose such information to third parties, except as specified in this privacy policy.

If you request information, services, or assistance, it may be neccessary for us to disclose your personal information to that third parties that in our judgement are appropriate to fulfill your request. If, when you provide us with such information, you specify that you do not want us to disclose the information to third parties, we will honor your request, but it may be impossible in some cases for us to respond to or fulfill your request. When intervening on your behalf with a government agency on a casework matter, we will seek your permission in advance before sharing personal information with these agencies.

In addition, when you visit my website, it collects and stores a variety of non-personally identifying information. The data collected is used solely to help us maintain the site, to ensure the site is working properly, and to help us make our site more accessible and useful.
