Illegal Immigration Stories

Roberto Galo:[1]

Galo struck the motorcycle of 25-year-old second year law student, Drew Rosenberg. Galo was trying to run an unchanging light and struck Drew's motorcycle. This was in rush hour traffic so neither party was going fast. Drew was knocked from his motorcycle and landed in front of Galo's vehicle. Had Galo stopped after initial contact, Drew would have only sustained a few bruises. However, eyewitnesses said Galo accelerated and he drove over Drew's body. He would have driven clear over Drew, however his helmet lodged in front of Galo's front tire stopping forward momentum. This caused Galo to back up and drive over Drew again. After backing up, he again accelerated over Drew.  Galo was found guilty of manslaughter and driving without a license.

Corona was driving three times over the legal limit and speeding down the wrong side of the freeway when he struck and killed Officer Brandon Mendoza on his way home from a shift. Officer Mendoza was a highly respected officer in this community. He volunteered his time and was on track to become a sergeant.[2]

Humberto Gonzalez:[3]

Gonzalez was found guilty of kidnapping, criminal restraint and several counts of assault for his 2005 crime. This was a "cold" case of sexual assault for five years before Humberto, an illegal immigrant, was booked for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Texas in 2010. The sexual assault victim was 53-years-old with a husband and son at the time of her attack. Gonzalez also had a prior criminal history in Louisiana and Arkansas.

Her brother returned to the scene to see what she had hit after she parked and found their father crying for help over their bodies. Cinthya did not return to the scene of the accident even after learning that she had hit two children. At the time of the accident and killing of the two children, Cinthya had been given a driver's license and renewable work permit under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

German de Jesus Ventura:

Salvadoran illegal alien who was the ringleader of a sex trafficking ring in Maryland. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison.[13] He had used threats of violence to coerce prostitutes to engage in his business and threatened violence against competitors in the trafficking industry. Also, Ventura had falsely reported rape and kidnapping charges on a competitor to put the authorities off of his trail.

Carlos Ortega:

He is an illegal alien and a leader in the MS-13 gang, was sentenced to life in prison after convictions for racketeering, murder, and assault with dangerous weapons.[14] Authorities called his crime spree a "swath of murder." Nicolas Guaman:[16]

Shota Limura:[26]

A Japanese citizen that overstayed his tourist visa was living homeless near a police station in Kalihi. He was clearly mentally ill and the local police contacted immigration officials when they discovered he was in the country illegally. Federal officials took him to a detention facility where he rubbed his own excrement on the walls and refused to submit for routine medical and mental screenings. They have a deportation policy that allows non-dangerous aliens to be deported without guards, and thus customs officials got him a ticket on Korean Airlines to return to Japan on May 2, 2014. He refused to board the plan and began to shout in the jet way. Thus the airline refused to allow him to board. After this ICE released him under an order of supervision given his lack of criminal history. Down the street from ICE offices he assaulted a 35-year-old woman.
