Eastern North Carolina and the 3rd District

Welcome to the "Crystal Coast," known for it's beautiful beaches and historic towns . Visitors come to our region to see the lighthouses, go fishing in our famous rivers and sounds, or enjoy a round of golf in one of our pristine golf courses. Please feel free to explore and come down and visit for awhile!

The Third District of North Carolina includes the following counties in whole or in part: Beaufort, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Greene, Hyde, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Tyrrell, Washington.

District Facts

The district spans from Currituck, the most northeastern part of North Carolina, down to Onslow County. According to the American Community Survey, the 3rd District is home to over 686,863 North Carolinians.
