The San Gabriel Valley has a vibrant business community, with 69,021 small and medium-sized business establishments forming a strong foundation for the Valley’s business community, according to the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership.  Several Fortune 500 companies as well have key offices or facilities in and around the 27th Congressional District.  

The wholesale sector is one of the San Gabriel Valley’s biggest industries, representing 24 percent of all businesses in 2010. A Foreign Trade Zone has also been established to help the Valley’s diverse, immigrant business community to more effectively participate in international trade.

Retail sales in the San Gabriel Valley have reached over $13 billion annually in 2010.
