Today, the office of Congressman Mike Coffman (CO-6) announced that the Veterans Administration has approved the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) for the establishment of a new Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora Colorado.

Once it's up and running, the new Veteran's Affairs building at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora will include a research and treatment center entirely devoted to the care of aging veterans.

The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System building that is currently under construction at Anschutz will establish the first Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center in the country in more than 15 years.
