One of the most effective ways to grow the economy and create jobs is to provide tax relief to small businesses and middle class families.

With lower tax burdens, businesses can grow and hire more workers.  Dr. Cassidy recognizes that families, not Washington, know how to make the most productive use of their hard earned money.  Dr. Cassidy also signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, demonstrating that he will oppose efforts to increase taxes. 

With the national debt over $16 trillion dollars, Dr. Cassidy knows that fiscal responsibility is not an option; it’s an urgent necessity.  He understands that we must get federal spending under control by cutting the wasteful and duplicative programs to ensure the long term financial health of the United States and protect our children and grandchildren from mountains of debt they cannot afford.
