Congressional Art Competition

As a member of the Congressional Arts Caucus, I am pleased to announce the 2014 Congressional Art Competition, which is hosted by the U.S. House of Representatives. This is a wonderful opportunity to support young artistic talent in the nation, as well acknowledge our gifted students from the Central Coast.

Each spring, I invite high school students from the 24th Congressional District to enter a piece of art work in the competition. Each congressional district may submit one winner to have their artwork displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, and receive two roundtrip tickets to Washington, D.C. to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception for the new display in June 2014.
