    From Oct. 26 to Oct. 30, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe visited key U.S. allies in Eastern Europe and the Middle East to show support during tumultuous times. In Lithuania, President Dalia Grybauskaite hosted Sen. Inhofe for the inauguration of Lithuania's first liquefied natural gas import facility, which will allow the country to lessen the region's energy dependence on Russia. In Ukraine, Sen. Inhofe met with President Petro Poroshenko and members of his administration to discuss the ongoing aggression Ukraine is experiencing from Russia and how the U.S. can help Ukraine protect its sovereignty. In the Middle East, Sen. Inhofe visited the Jordanian-Syrian border, met with King Addullah II and visited U.S. troops stationed the region.

    Sen. Inhofe speaks to the Tulsa Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce during their 2014 Fly-In event on April 8th, 2014. During the conversation he shared his priorities in the 113th Congress and took questions from the audience about issues important to Tulsa and the State of Oklahoma. They also discussed how EPA regulations are entangling Oklahoma's small businesses, farmers, manufacturers, and energy industry, and his plans to put the breaks on the agency's unchecked regulatory agenda.

    Sen. Inhofe spoke with the Altus Chamber of Commerce and Altus Military Affairs Committee during their trip to Washington, D.C. During a meeting on April 7, 2014 Inhofe spoke about the Water Resource Development Act (WRDA) and the benefits it will have for Oklahoma’s water resources and to help rural communities meet their water requirements.

    Sen. Inhofe also had the pleasure of joining members of the Altus community, military leaders and Members of Congress for the 52nd Annual Altus Quail Breakfast on the morning of April 8, 2014. Secretary of the Air Force Deborah L. James and Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark Welsh III spoke to the group about the budget contraints, the KC-46A refueling tanker and the current state of the U.S. Air Force.
