Student Resources

My office is happy to provide information to students who want to learn more about Academy Nominations and how to apply for internships in my offices. If you have questions about any of the information below, please feel free to contact my Washington D.C. office at 202-224-4041.

Academy Nominations

I have the honor of nominating young men and women from Connecticut as candidates to the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force and Merchant Marine Academies. Visit this page to learn more about the nomination process and start your online application.

Internships

Students interning with one of my offices will have the opportunity to learn about the legislative process and get a first-hand look at how the U.S. Senate works. Full-time and part-time internships are available in my Washington, D.C. and Hartford offices year round. Please visit this page to learn how to apply.

Senate Page Program

The Senate Page Program offers a unique opportunity for high school juniors to learn in depth how Congress works. Page responsibilities include delivery of correspondence and legislative material within the Congressional Complex. Pages may also take messages for Members, prepare the Senate Chamber for session and carry bills and amendments to the desk. Please visit this page to learn how to apply.
