In the News: ROAD Act Builds on NC Infrastructure

Recently, I introduced the Route to Opportunity and Development (ROAD) Act, establishing Corridor 13 - traveling from Raleigh to Norfolk - as a future interstate. The bill would prioritize future highway funding for Corridor 13 and enable improvements to sections of U.S. Highways 17 and 64 to bring them to interstate standards. Improvements to the corridor will increase economic development in eastern North Carolina and save taxpayer dollars by improving on our existing infrastructure.
