Kirk Statement on the Passing of Rosemary Roberts

CHICAGO – U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) today released the following statement on the passing of Rosemary Roberts at the age of 82. Rosemary was the mother of Craig Roberts, chief of staff to U.S. Rep. John Shimkus, and was a beloved and active member of her community in Madison County:
“Illinois has lost one of our brightest lights in politics. I share the sorrow of my friend Craig in the passing of his mother and am keeping his family in my prayers today.”
