Legislative Record

Each session of Congress, thousands of bills are introduced by various members of the House and Senate. In reviewing legislation, I always consider how they will affect individuals and Idaho; what benefits will be provided to Idahoans; what the costs will be to federal, state, and local entities, as well as other factors. These links will take you to the text of the various bills and amendments I have sponsored and co-sponsored during my tenure in the U.S. Senate, 1999 to the present.

As I have the opportunity, I am pleased to participate in debate on the Senate floor, to speak about issues of importance to Idahoans, to honor specific Idahoans and to facilitate the flow of legislation through the chamber. The following links will take you to the transcripts of remarks that I have given on the senate floor. From time to time, I also have the opportunity to testify before a Senate Committee. You will also find these remarks available through this link to Thomas, a government/legislative database. You will need to select the Congressional session, my name and any other search parameters that you have to complete your search.
