Schedule Requests

I enjoy meeting with Idahoans whenever possible, and appreciate the efforts of those who travel to Washington, DC, for business or pleasure. If you would like to schedule an appointment with me when you are visiting in Washington, DC, please send your request to Schedule_Requests@Crapo.senate.gov. Please include the bulleted items below and any other relevant details in your request, or you may fill out this D.C. Meeting PDF-fillable form and send it as an attachment to your email. If you would like to meet with me while I'm in Idaho, please contact my State Scheduler, Brian Raybon, at brian_raybon@crapo.senate.gov. Click here for the State Meeting PDF-fillable form.

  • Phone number(s), including cell phone

Although I will do my best to meet with every Idahoan who visits my office, it is often hard to predict the Senate’s schedule and accommodate each request. Generally meetings with Idahoans are held in the afternoon, usually after 2:30 p.m. in an effort to avoid the busy morning hours, when committee meetings and other Senate business is frequently conducted. However, in the event that I am not available, please know that one of my staff will be glad to meet with you and pass along to me any concerns you may have.

Here are some tips to help you through process of scheduling a meeting with me whether in DC or Idaho:

  • Due to the large volume of requests, coupled with the time it takes to review them, please allow three (3) business days before following up.
  • Please be patient as I receive dozens of requests for each day, and it is frequently a balancing act to fit as many people as possible onto the schedule.
  • Requests are generally dealt with as they are received. You are encouraged to send your meeting request in at your earliest convenience.
  • Please DO NOT mail your Washington, DC, requests to me. Due to security procedures at the United States Senate, delivery of regular mail is often delayed for weeks and your request may not arrive in a timely manner.
  • To save you additional effort, it is necessary to send your request in one format only (fax, email, or letter) and to send it directly to the appropriate member of my scheduling staff.

It is useful to use the same guidelines as listed above for state scheduling requests and provide as much information as possible regarding your request. I appreciate your consideration and the opportunities that I have to meet with Idahoans, both in Washington, DC, and in Idaho.

If you are in need of immediate assistance regarding casework or a personal matter involving a federal agency, an appointment directly with me may not be necessary. Please call my office nearest to you to determine the most effective way to resolve your concern.
