Fraud Hotline

Welcome to the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging Fraud Hotline. This Committee is focused on ensuring that taxpayers’ money is properly spent on vital programs impacting seniors. Therefore, this fraud hotline serves as a way to report instances of waste, fraud, and abuse within government programs.

If you know someone who has been a victim of fraud---or if you suspect that they may become a victim----please contact us toll-free  at 1-855-303-9470 or email us using the web form below. The Committee’s investigators have experience in fraud concerning retirement savings, identity theft, phone scams, Medicare, Social Security, and a variety of other consumer issues important to seniors and the elderly. Due to the nature of the fraud that has been committed or is suspected, individuals often do not know where to turn for assistance. It will be staffed by a team of committee investigators weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.

We are here to assist you in maneuvering through those difficult next steps, as well as to refer your case to the appropriate federal or state authorities for inquiry, if appropriate, or to other organizations that may be able to provide further support.

Please feel free to contact the fraud hotline with any leads. We’re happy to serve you.
